Acrostic Animals #50

Yay! I have written 50 of these little poems. If you haven't figured it out, or looked it up, there is a secret to these. Read the first letter of each line in the poem and it spells out an animal. If you didn't know about this, I suggest you go back and read all the Acrostic Animals pieces with this in mind. And here is number fifty:

Persnickety Persistent Patient Pest

Futile slaps that bring increased frustration
Land so soft with germs and wings and buzzing
Yet again the taunting hesitation
